Photographing Children {Secrets}

“I have a deep respect and love for these tiny humans, and I hope to convey in my images a measure of the beauty that exists in all children.”  – Anne Geddes

Children hold within their tiny grasp all of the secrets for a joyous life. I don’t know what those secrets are because, of course, they’re secret! But in the course of my six years as a photographing mother (also known as a momarazzi), I feel that I have caught a few glimpses into the mind of a child and so the secrets I’ve uncovered for how to live a happy life are thus:

IMG_4370bw{Have Fun} Kids can find something fun in just about anything!

_DSC2268wm{Ignore Everyone} Forget what people think of you and just go for it! Children are uninhibited.

Untitled-1small {Love Unconditionally} Children have no concept of hate. They love and accept everyone.

_DSC8005 {Forgive quickly} Children are quick to forgive and hold no record of wrong against you. This is a particular blessing to us parents – our children are quick to forget the horrible things we have done to disappoint them.
