Fantastic! Delicate, gentle, seamless addition to the image. February 13, 2010 - 7:32 pm
Beautiful……forgive my ignorance but how do you import this into the original image? February 14, 2010 - 9:59 pm
@Karen: well, first I use the quick selection tool (in Photoshop) to select all around the girl and once the selection is perfect, I do ctrl+j to make it into a new layer. Then you can edit the background without affecting the foreground. If you want to know more about this sort of process, you can check out this tutorial I did in great detail about separating your image into layers for editing: http://www.elizabethhalford.com/2010/01/19/how-i-did-it-tuesday/ February 14, 2010 - 11:55 pm

I had tried using textures and wallpapers before but never really been inspired or amazed by the results but when Elizabeth posted this, I thought ‘Oh I have to have a go at that!’. http://www.flickr.com/photos/16556551@N03/4354364700/ It was alot of fun. I recommend for anyone to try! |
