My advice is to never think your work won’t get snagged. One time in a Borders book store, I turned around and was astonished to find a row of frames for sale with a stock photo that was an exact replica of one of my most cherished photos taken in France. Never think it won’t happen. Best of luck to all of the future photographers. This blog is lovely and very approachable without pretentious attitude. Thank you!

Please! can someone explain me what is PSE Y L.R. I want to learn to do this watermark thing, but I dont use ligtroom yet.. just photoshop Cs4.. can I do this also in pohtoshop? plis helpe me out! this is kind of a silly question too! but still need to know the procedure in photohsop.. thanks in advance! regards from Mexico!

It’s great to share this kind of info in an easy understandable way. We may feel “silly” watermarking our amateur photos but I’ve had a friend who once went online and found her prize dog “for sale”. Of course he wasn’t but someone had lifted her photo to advertise their own dog – no idea what he looked like! I now watermark anything that goes online even if it’s just family snapshots.

@Debbi: Well now that I’ve started using actions in PSE, I don’t even always start with LR. As far as one by one, unfortunately, that’s how I do it when I use the manner which I just showed you. There are watermarking programs out there (like iwatermark) but I’ve never liked them. I just watermark the ones I decide to upload online. Yes, thanks for the information. I, too, have had this on my list of things to learn in my newfound hobby.

One additional question – what is your flow from taking a photo you’ve processed in LightRoom to adding your watermark or logo in PhotoShop E? Do you take each picture individually? This may be a silly question, but then again, I’m a silly girl :)

Michelle, I’m glad you asked, watermarking is one of things that I planned to get around to; one day, its not that anyone would really use my amateur pictures, but something, I wanted to learn how to do.

I’m glad you provided the steps Elizabeth.
