I’m Climbing Mountains – Literally

I’m really thrilled (and even more nervous!) that today, we’re off to Wales to climb Snowdon. Tomorrow morning we begin and spend the day climbing to one of the most treacherous peaks on the top of Mt. Snowdon. As you can see on the video, we’ll literally be walking the ridge of the mountain which is like walking along a balance beam.

I’ve always seen those calendar photos of mountains in Ireland, Scotland and Wales and had a sinking feeling in my gut that I would never see these things for myself, but tomorrow it will happen. And of course, come hell or high water, I will be photographing it!

If you’d like to sponsor me in any aMOUNT (har har pun intended), just leave a comment below. Check out this video to see exactly what we’re doing and why:

Oh wow. I went to Wales a few weeks ago for Duke of Edinburgh and climed a few mountains but they weren’t as high as these. I think the highest we climbed was 600metres. I hadn’t really been to Wales much before that and I didn’t realise how beautiful it is. Can’t wait to see all the pictures when you get back. Have fun! Good luck!

That is absolutely wonderful. Our church supports a village in Uganda. It is so precious to hear about the work that is done. And it is touching to see how grateful they are for the work that is done for their community. A friend of mine is over there teaching classes right now. She’ll be there another four weeks. Enjoy your hike. Just magnificent. Smiles, m
