Cheri Smith is a project management professional who wanted to break out of the contracting game to develop a very specific service offering.

When Cheri came to me to design marketing collateral, she didn’t have any of the documentation I needed to be successful, so I put a hold on any design and we worked together to answer those questions.

In the end, she walked away with a brand, a website, and some sales collateral.

“Elizabeth is professional, prompt, and communicates well. She is very good at what she does. I’ve worked with numerous specialists in the past and she is one of the best I’ve worked with. I'm really happy with the result. She definitely exceeded my expectations.”

What I delivered for

Crevay Company

Workshopping

The first thing I did with Cheri was take her through my series of workshops:

Workshop 1: Discover

We defined the why, how, what behind her idea.

Workshop 2: Focus

We refined her understanding of the customer’s perspective (and discovered their bleeding, human pain points)

Workshop 3: Elevate

We collaborated to reveal the archetype and identity of her brand and how to connect it with users through design.

Personal Brand Photography

Cheri needed personal branding photography and since she wasn’t in Florida for me to do her photography, I played creative director and vetted brand photographers local to Cheri.

I chose a photographer and made sure that the output was everything we needed to make sure she was able to build rapport with prospective customers.

Documentation

Along the way, the information gathered throughout these exercises was distilled into documentation that will be referred to for the life of the business.

This documentation outlines:

  • Internal and external messaging

  • Customer desires, needs, and the things blocking from them getting what they want (aka “pain points”)

  • Analogies for what she does

  • Information about her brand archetype

This documentation is a repository for headlines and other bits of copy that made appearances in the marketing collateral I designed for Cheri.

Website

After all was said and done, we had pretty much everything required to develop a website to articulate how the Crevay offering solves customers’ pain points.

I designed and developed the Crevay Co. website.

Marketing collateral

Once we had the website done, it was easy to trim that down to its most essential information and produce a marketing one-pager.

Ongoing consultation

I’ve remained on hand to advise Cheri on further development of her service offerings, design work, and marketing activities like webinars.

I can help you, too.
